Learning From Ewen Chia (2)

I have just come back from attending my first Ewen Chia's seminar. As expected, the seminar room was fully packed and crowded. I was so excited about it as this was my first time meeting Ewen Chia in person. If you do not know who is Ewen Chia, then you should read my previous post: Learning From Ewen Chia.

At the end of the seminar, I managed to talk to him and asked him whether I can take a photo with him. He gladly said yes! After that, I told him that I have been blogging recently and have written something about him. I asked him whether he is interested to visit my blog, and to my amazement, he asked what my blog address and even asked me to write it down on a piece of paper! I am really happy to know that Ewen Chia is very approachable and down to earth person.

I would say, if you want to learn a simple and systematic step by step approach about Internet Marketing, then you MUST learn it from Ewen Chia. Other Internet Marketer Gurus may teach you practical theories about Internet Marketing but no one has ever done it as simple as Ewen put it! To quote what Ewen said, "even dummies can do it!". His approach is always like: "Step 1 do this, Step 2 do that" kind of thing.

According to Ewen, in order to be successful in Internet Marketing, we should be FOCUS and should NOT over-complicate things. In fact, I have learned from Ewen that making money online does not require you to be equipped with all the technical knowledge and stuff like that. The fact is, a simple step by step SYSTEM that works, will just do the magic in making money online on the Internet.


In this post, I will highlight the main points that Ewen shared during the seminar. Ewen explained that there are 3 basic steps in order to start an Instant Internet Business System. They are as follow:

Step #1: MARKET
Step #2: OFFER
Step #3: TRAFFIC

Step #1: Why You Need A Market
a. You can't have a business without a market.
b. You can't be all things to everyone.
c. Pick a market you have a passion for.
d. Focus on one market and become an expert on that.

Ewen emphasized that the secret to success is to focus and specialize in one market first, after that we can then move on to the next market. One by one. Do you know that the easiest way to find HOT profitable markets instantly can be found from the Internet itself?! The secret is to make use of multi-million dollar companies' market research such as http://www.ebay.com/and http://www.magazines.com/.

Step #2: Why You Need An Offer
a. You can't make money without an offer.
b. Provide people with what they want.
c. Provide offer fast and without work.
d. Use other people's products and services.

The last item is called Affiliate Marketing. It is basically a proven business model where you can join a merchant's affiliate program and make a commission or referral fee off the merchant's products.

In my opinion, this type of marketing is by far the simplest way of doing business. Why? Because you don't have to come out with your own product! You can just recommend good products to everyone and earn a commission every time people buy that product! And it is always easier to recommend rather than to create a new product from scratch.

For me personally, I will always ensure that I have bought and tested or at least know the quality of the product before I recommend it.

So far, I personally recommend people to buy Insider Secrets by Derek Gehl, Secrets of Self Made Millionaire by Adam Khoo, Master Your Mind Design Your Destiny by Adam Khoo & Stuart Tan and Newbie Cash Machine by Ewen Chia. These are my personal recommendations to all of you!

Step #3: How To Get Instant Traffic!
a. Importance of traffic quality vs quantity
b. Be consistent in your marketing
c. Become good at a few primary strategies
c. All you need to do is to focus on driving traffic.

The easiest way to get quality traffic NOW is to go where people are already looking for solutions and information! Places such as http://www.forumfind.com/ and http://www.answers.yahoo.com/ are examples of instant traffic strategies that you can use immediately for free!

Summary
Step #1: MARKET; Find a hot and profitable market looking for information
Step #2: OFFER; Present and offer informational solutions to this market
Step #3: TRAFFIC; Focus on driving targeted traffic to your offer!

That's it. There you have it. I have just summarized the 3 basic steps that Ewen Chia shared to his audience during the seminar. Of course I can go on and on.. but I think I have shared long enough... :)
