Updates on My Life

Hi Friends,

How are you? It's been more than a month since my last post. I hope you guys are doing fine.

Well I realise, it's been quite a while that I never really share much about my current progress or what I have been up to in this blog. So I will share a fair bit over here.

1. September 07. I changed my job from a researcher in the university, to an engineer in an offshore industry. Big thanks to my friend, Dani, as he recommended me to join this industry. The current company that I am working with, is recognized as the world leader in building oil rigs all over the world. I am blessed and thank God that I have the opportunity to join this industry.

2. October 07. My then girl friend decided to come to stay in Singapore. Great! That means no more long distance relationship for both of us. This was part of our plan as I feel the need for her to get used to living in Singapore before we settle down here.

3. November 07. I and my then girl friend celebrated our ROM !! Hence, we are officially husband and wife! Initially we wanted to have our ROM together with our holy matrimony ceremony. But then, we changed our mind. The folowing working day after our ROM, I sponsored my wife to apply for PR.

4. December 07. About 3 months have passed in my new job. I was assigned to learn and use a finite difference software to model soil-structure interactions. Frankly speaking, I never used the software before, but I strived to learn it as soon as possible. I realised that after I changed my job, I seldom update this blog. I also noticed a drop in my adsense earning do to lack of visitors.


5. January 08. New Year and new resolution. Following Adam Khoo's advice, I decided that I should invest more on my financial intelligence. Thanks to my friend, Christian, he called me one day to invite me for attending a free seminar. It turned out to be a Forex Seminar. At that time, I didnt know much about Forex so I thought "Ok, let's go to the seminar". Later, I committed to invest by taking up the Forex Course by FX1 Academy. I am glad that I took action!

6. February 08. I and my wife went back home to Jakarta to celebrate chinnese new year and my mom's birthday at the same time :) 3 months have passed waiting for my wife's PR application. No news from ICA. Felt a bit anxious.

7. March 08. Finally we received a letter from ICA and thank God that my wife's PR application was approved. After she collected her IC, I brought her to Dennis Wee, property agent seminar. My wife has been dreaming to be a successful property agent. So after the seminar, we decided that she should take action, walk the first step to making her dream a reality. So now, she is working as a property agent under Dennis Wee Pte Ltd. For those of you staying in Singapore and want to buy/sell/rent a property, feel free to contact me okay?! I will ask my wife to do the homework for you!

Wow! You see, 7 months have passed just like that. Time really flies and I believe that we should live our life to the fullest. I am excited as I made decision to invest in my financial intelligence by learning about Forex Trading. I am excited as my wife is pursuing her dream to be a successful property agent.
